In March 2012 "AYALA" foundation will exist 5 years.   Over the years, with the help of our partners and caring citizens of our country much has been done.   The main activity of the foundation is to help children's hospitals, clinics, maternity hospitals and sanatoriums.   The first major project was the equipping of children's infectious hospital`s #1 intensive care unit in Almaty.   This equipment has already helped staff of resuscitation to save many lives of seriously ill children.   And how many more will be saved?  M ajor repairs has been done, employees received uniforms. New equipment is purchased and working in intensive care unit of Children's Hospital № 2.

Currently the largest project of our foundation is the project "Breathe, baby."   In 2009-2011 all the children's intensive care units of maternity hospitals and the Almaty Perinatal Center have received from us a large number of modern medical equipment: respiratory devices, resuscitation tables, syringe and infusion dosing devices, medical scales, electric pumps, phototherapy devices and other.   After realization of this project in Almaty, AYALA foundation signed a memorandum of cooperation and collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.   Since then, the project "Breathe, baby," acquired the status of the Republican.   This project will help equipping resuscitations of regional perinatal centers located in regions of our country with medical equipment.   Employees of the foundation found the urgent needs of intensive care units and in September 2011 installed the necessary medical equipment in regional perinatal centers in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karaganda and Semey. Ministry of Health noticed the work of our Foundation on the day of medical officer, and the 20th anniversary of independence President of our Foundation Aidan Suleimenov was awarded with medal of honor “Contribution to the Development of Health”.

Children's hospitals and sanatoriums – are not the only direction of our foundation's work, we are engaged in assistance to orphanages and boarding schools.   Four years with the charity foundation "Dara" we hold "Day of Smiles" for children of all orphanages of our city.

At 20 th of June 2008 first ceremony "Patron of education" held by the Ministry of Education and Science. President of our foundation Aidan Suleimenov was awarded with a gold medal for assisting children educational institutions.   Aidan finds this award as a symbol of recognition of charity foundation "AYALA" works.

2010 has become very important in the development of pediatric cardiac surgery in our country. Our foundation with the “Association of charity foundations” participated in the project "I want to live. During this project team of doctors from Center of Surgery after name of   Syzganov had practiced in cardiac clinic of Bergamo, our foundation two times installed necessary equipment to make possible providing operations.   On this basis in 2010, surgeons, anesthetists, perfusionist were able to operate 292 children, 108 of them weighing less than 10kg.   But before such operations were very rare.

In 2010, we began to help health care and education outside of Almaty within the framework of the project "All of us - citizens of Kazakhstan."   To the Central District Hospital of Sarykol village of Kostanai region was purchased and installed medical equipment.   In kindergarten Sarykol village which was empty for many years and general renovation were done.   Also major repairs has been done to the Junior Sports School of the village Sarykol.   16 hospitals and maternity hospitals of Almaty region have received from us phototherapy devices.

Since 2010 the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Philanthropy in Kazakhstan' was held, which was another impetus for the development of a culture of philanthropy in Kazakhstan.
